C. DAILY: 24 HOURS

To A Floodless Street!

Our "outside" lawn/garden has been "slaughtered." It hurts to see, but we need a floodless street. *fingers crossed!*

For many many years, our bungalow house (then) always gets flooded every now and then when the rain is just to excited to pour its heart out. Our (then) tiny subdivision became populated and then rose an adjacent village on the hillside--hence, as everyone would say, the cause of all this flood. Our subdvision did not anticipate the birth of an immediate adjacent village, which means, no big enough canals & drainage.

My mom wanted to move out, but there's just too much sentimental value. This is where they grew up, and their house was the 3rd house ever built since Apovel opened, that was in 1973 (i think!). So she can't just leave our house and my lolo's house just like that. To compensate, we had our house REBUILT, yes, not renovated but we had to REBUILD everything in 1999. Our architect did an amazing job by elevating our ground to i think 2 meters up! And yes, miraculously, even the worst flood, no water said hi to our doorstep. But, we never rejoiced. Because our neighbors scream & whine everytime the rain pours hard. And that affects us too. And now, finally, someone's taking up on the action plan.

Father, I celebrate the birth and life of Jesus Christ who is the very reason for the Christmas season. My gift to You this year is----ME! Every part of my life in full surrender to Your plan and purpose. Please help me keep my eyes firmly fixed on You as I celebrate Christmas this year. May others see the joy and peace only You can give as I honor You.

Kree can hold the glass all by herself at 11months! ☺ it's actually her 3rd day, last night.. And her hands are now more comfortable.

Welcome Home, Baby Girl!

Kree's finally HOME!

This was on the 29th of December, 2010

We left her in Madonna & Child Hospital for 2 nights, as per doctor's recommendation that I still should recover some strength to get ready for the sleepless nights.. and! for baby to be finally ready to face & breathe the real world. I can still remember everything, clearly! But as for the sleepless nights, t'was just for a month or so.. And it wasn't so bad! I enjoyed every single waking hour.

countdown to the 24th

17 days to go, and my lil hunny bunch will turn ONE.

I've got tons of emotions, mixed. But to top it all, I'm just really excited to see her blow her 1st birthday candle. I've been practicing her to pout UP exaggeratedly her lips, but she's just too demure to do it. Hahaha :D I can't wait for THE day. I just want a simple gathering, with full of girly colors, and an ice cream to keep positive vibes around :)

New life, new blog page.

I thought I'd stick with Tumblr when I said it would be my last blog site that I would update religiously (which I really did, through more or so daily posting of pictures). But, ugh, no. For some reason, I couldn't open it. So here, again, trying to make a wonderful comeback of sharing you the bits and pieces of my life. I've always loved blogspot, I just left it for a while because there were just too many naughty commentators from elsewhere. And yes, I need not hear/read your negative world, because I do have my own down falls at times. I do not need your insults. So please be good to me this time around.
