Heritage Tree
the 3rd of many firsts :)
I wanted to make a wonderful framed heritage tree for our Emborgo clan, but I couldn't "house" a magnificent idea. So this remains unfinished, until I finalize what to do, which materials to use..and etc. I wish Jo-Ann's or Michael's are just within reach. Getting my hands on beautiful papers and cardstocks are lightyears away, the shipping takes forever!

this is one of my first favorites during my "getting to know my cricut" stage. it's just too cute! i love cupcakes, and it's just a pretty sight for me. my one year old daughter loved this too. she held on to this while we were in her pedia's clinic, getting a shot :D

it's a girl!
i didn't have the right papers to play with.. so i just used whatever stock i have.
notice also the paper "curve" ..yep! i used too much glue. now i'm getting better at playing with glue--even though it's my least favorite adhesive. but! i'm loving the edge to edge coverage. i can't wait for my xyron to arrive. but i wish i bought the bigger one.
i only had the Ultimate Cricut Sampler cartridge at this time, so i had a (minimal) vast mix of themes. it was just a freebie from the machine, i wish i had a choice back then.
i wish i had millions of mullah so i can get them all at once :)) here's to more crafting fun! :D have a great day!
